My name is Conor Merriman and I am a Dublin-based freelance art director, graphic designer and illustrator with a BA in Visual Communication from NCAD.  

I specialise in collaborative and creative problem-solving. Working over many disciplines such as illustration, brand identity design, print and digital campaigns along with packaging design, visual marketing and consumer goods – I have worked with clients such as; Walt Disney Studios, Louis Vuitton, Playstation, Diet Coke, Guinness, 20th Century Studios, Warner Bros, Samsung, Microsoft, H&M, BBC Sounds, Element Pictures, Brown Thomas and Arnotts to name a few.

I have lectured and hosted illustration workshops at The National Gallery of Ireland, Ballyfermot College of Further Education (BCFE) and NCAD along with being the 2022 keynote speaker on anti-bullying for The Law Society of Ireland.

I have helped create successful brand identities for two Michelin Starred restaurants; Liath and Chapter One by Mickael Viljanen, along with Poachers Premium Irish Mixers, BYSK makeup, Light House and Pálás Cinemas, and Winelab. I also have a greeting card range with Moonpig that was commissioned for their Irish launch.

In 2018, I designed a limited edition homeware range and visual merchandising campaign for Arnotts for their 175th birthday.

My work has been featured in The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Image Magazine, Silicon Republic and many more.
